What that means in practice
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy something through one, the retailer pays us a small commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it never changes the price you pay.
How we choose what to recommend
Every product we recommend is something our family bought and used. We write about what worked and what did not. A commission never buys a recommendation, and we do not accept payment for placement or for a positive review.
Where a product is available from more than one retailer, we link to the one we think serves you best and note the alternatives.
Pages that carry no links at all
Our emergency references — treating a low, treating a high, ketones, sick days — carry no affiliate links, no product cards and no advertising of any kind. Those pages exist to be useful at three in the morning, and nothing on them should be selling you anything.
