Thank Your School Nurse- T1D Edition!

By T1DmomUpdated 1 min read

School nurses are real-life heroes for kids with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D)- managing blood sugars, treating lows, handling highs, and keeping our kids safe every single day.

National School Nurse Day is on May 7, 2025. I like to send in a gift on this day as a special thank you for all they have done for my son. I created a couple different files that you can download and print if you would like to use them as well. Just attach a gift card to each!

I will even use some of these printable files at the end of the school year with a bigger gift card as a thank you for the entire school year. We are so lucky to have our amazing school nurses!

Other gift ideas: Personalized tumbler Bracelet- we have given one that has the colors of Breakthrough T1D so she can always remember our son Relaxation gifts Gift cards A special note from your T1D child- most meaningful, I always include this with our gifts
